Re-booking tenants
If you are an existing tenant and would like to re-book next year please call on 01225 838 392 or email us at Durham@touchstonecps.com as soon as possible, particularly if you want to stay in the same room for the 2012-13 academic year.
Deposit
There is no deposit to pay.
Utilities, internet access & contents insurance
Utilities, internet access and contents insurance are included in the rent.
Cancellation policy
Your Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement is a legal contract for a fixed term and you are liable for the rent for the term of the agreement. Once we have received your signed Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement and have signed them on behalf of the landlord, the contractual relationship starts. If you wish to terminate your tenancy agreement after we have received it then please contact us to let us know. You will need to find a replacement tenant and will remain liable for the rent until the date the room is re-let.
Tenancy agreement
The Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement is a legally binding document between you (as the tenant) and the landlord with Touchstone acting as the managing agent. The agreement is an important document and you should always seek legal advice before signing it. If you want to book a room we will send you two copies of the Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement then hold you a room for 7 days while you sign and return them along with your post-dated rent payment.
